Buffaloes Eye Fourth Straight Win as They Take On Utah Tech

This Thursday, December 21st, the Buffaloes host the Utah Tech Trailblazers at the Coors events center.  Colorado comes into this matchup riding high on a three game win streak, most recently handing Northern Colorado a blowout loss, winning by a score of 90-68.

In this game, all five of Colorado’s starting players finished with double digit points, with KJ Simpson leading the team in totals, boasting a 21, 5, 4, and 5 line.  It has been a tale spun in a different direction for the Trailblazers this year, who are sitting at 5-3 across the first eight games, with three losses across their last three.

The key difference between these two teams has been shown in the difference in scoring efficiency between the two.  The Buffaloes are averaging 90 or more points across each of their last three, with the Trailblazers scoring just 62 points in two of their previous three games.  The betting line for this game has Utah Tech coming in as 22.5 point underdogs, and if they are to have a chance in this game the key will be to score efficiently.

For the Buffaloes, they will look to continue their hot run of form, and use their size to win one on one battles across the floor.  Look for the Buffaloes to keep it rolling this week, using their high powered, efficient offense along with their physical presence on the other side of the ball. The game will be televised at 8 pm eastern on the PAC12 Network.
